Lekha is a seasoned business attorney, guiding businesses through their inception to scaling. Lekha believes that no two clients are the same, and her practice focuses on providing non-generic solutions to entrepreneurs and startups on business formation, startup planning, capital raise, acquisitions and general corporate matters. She also acts as ‘outside in-house’ counsel for her clients and has been a trusted team player and counsel for many small and medium sized businesses, negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, advising on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, privacy laws, employment issues, dispute resolution and day-to-day legal needs. With a solutions-oriented approach, she crafts tailored solutions to navigate complex business challenges. Lekha also specializes in guiding India-based businesses through their US market entry, including business setup and fundraising, by leveraging her experience of working in both these jurisdictions.

Her prior experience as one of the founding-attorneys of M&T Legal, a boutique business law firm, and corporate counsel at a Bay Area startup provides her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by growing companies. At M&T Legal, Lekha represented several high growth startups and emerging companies, including on several 6 and 7 figure seed and VC rounds. M & T Legal’s practice has now merged with Structure Law Group, LLP. Lekha has also worked as an M & A lawyer at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Bangalore and Amarchand Mangaldas, a prestigious Indian law firm.

Growing up, Lekha was constantly encouraged to analyze, reason and debate and as a result, she developed a strong sense of justice and fairness. Becoming a lawyer was a logical culmination of these childhood values and influences, which continue to inform and enrich her lawyering.

With a Master's in Law from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's in Law from NALSAR, India, Lekha brings a robust academic foundation to her practice.

Beyond her professional life, Lekha enjoys outdoor adventures with her family and pursues her creative side through filmmaking.
