Sean Badgley is an attorney with over a decade of experience advising businesses in complex regulatory and economic environments. His practice focuses on business transactions, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and administrative regulatory matters. Mr. Badgley has worked extensively with startups and established businesses, helping them navigate legal frameworks and achieve their strategic goals.

Mr. Badgley began his legal career in Washington State's cannabis industry in 2013, where he played a key role in interpreting emerging cannabis laws and advocating for regulatory developments through administrative channels. His experience in regulated industries extends beyond cannabis, providing companies with guidance on compliance, governance, and business operations.

Prior to joining Structure Law Group, Mr. Badgley founded and led a boutique business law firm in downtown Seattle, overseeing a team of attorneys handling a diverse range of corporate and regulatory matters.

Mr. Badgley earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2014, where he was a member of the Cannabis Law Society. He has represented some of Washington's most high-value cannabis retailers, assisting with general counsel matters, employment issues, and mergers and acquisitions. His pro bono work includes advocacy litigation against city governments and the State of Washington.

Originally from Colorado, Mr. Badgley earned his B.A. in Business Economics from the University of Colorado in 2007, with an interdisciplinary focus on business studies.

Outside of his legal practice, Sean enjoys playing video games and TTRPGs, cooking, and reading historical non-fiction. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife, daughter, and two dachshund-mix dogs, who occasionally convince him to explore the PNW's scenic hiking trails.
