Role DescriptionStructure Law Group, LLP seeks a litigator with 0-2 years of experience to handle commercial and business litigation cases in its Century City office. We seek candidates who can think critically, are not intimidated by complex cases, and are confident in their ability to verbally advocate their research and writing. Specifically, the candidate we are looking for will assist with demand letters and responses thereto, prelitigation negotiations, motion practice, legal research, client communications, discovery, court appearances in state and federal courts and arbitration, mediations, and trial and arbitration preparation.
Litigation Associate Qualifications and Requirements- 0-2 years of litigation experience; interest in business and/or commercial litigation is preferred
- Familiarity with state and federal court rules and procedures
- Strong research and writing skills and ability prepare compelling briefs and arguments
- Ability to conduct document review and due diligence, and to prepare and respond to discovery
- Ability to assist with deposition preparations, client meetings, court appearances, mediations, and trial and arbitration hearings, and to provide strategic support through proceedings
- A strong willingness to assist with all aspects and stages of litigation, from case strategy to trial preparation
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a substantial caseload efficiently
