Jorge (pronounced “jōr-jay”) Martins, is a dedicated business attorney, meeting the legal needs of diverse businesses and individuals. Focused on business litigation and transactions, he adeptly navigates complex legal issues in business, corporate, commercial, and real estate sectors. His experience covers a wide range of litigation matters, including breach of contract, partnership and shareholder disputes, intellectual property conflicts, construction disputes, corporate conflicts, landlord-tenant issues, shareholder rights, and commercial and employment disputes.
Beyond litigation, Mr. Martins serves and provides counsel in various transactional matters. His practice extends to venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, business formations, intellectual property, and commercial transactions. Proficient in transactional intricacies, he handles the review and drafting of commercial contracts, operating agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and various employment-related contracts.

A native of Brazil, fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, and intermediate in Spanish, Mr. Martins began his legal education at Unifebe. During his time at Brazilian Law School, he visited the United States, spending time in Lake Tahoe, CA, and contributing to Palisades (formerly Squaw Valley). After completing his Bachelor's in Law in Brazil, he relocated to the United States to pursue his JD.
Mr. Martins earned his JD from the University of Santa Clara University School of Law, with a Tech Edge Certificate focusing on corporate, IP, and tech law. As a first-generation law student, he served as the president of the First-Generation Law School Association.
Before joining Structure Law Group, Mr. Martins gained valuable experience as a legal intern, focusing on Estate Planning, Bankruptcy, and Business Formation. He also volunteered at BEACH (Broncos Entrepreneur Advisory Clinic Hours), providing guidance to local entrepreneurs.
Beyond the legal realm, Mr. Martins enjoys music, reading, gaming, hiking, and volleyball. Recently discovering football, he is developing a newfound passion for the sport.
