Ethan Solove is a full-service business attorney who finds practical solutions to complex problems. Ethan represents clients in both business litigation and transactional matters. He handles every aspect of a dispute from start to finish, and is pragmatic, results-driven, and client-focused. His experience includes trials before judges, juries, and international arbitrators, and appellate work before the Federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
In his litigation practice, Ethan represents corporate and individual clients in a wide variety of matters in federal and state courts and private arbitration. He handles cases including business and corporate disputes, breaches of contract, fraud, mechanics liens, creditors’ rights, trade secret misappropriation, and many other complex issues. In addition to his trial and appellate work, Ethan handles pre-lawsuit advisement, discovery, law and motion practice, settlement negotiations, mediation, and post-judgment enforcement and defense.
Ethan brings the same practical approach to his transactional practice, which includes business formation, corporate governance, corporate financing, buy-sell agreements, stock options agreements, commercial contracts, intellectual property agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and general business counseling.
Before joining Structure Law Group, Ethan was an attorney at the international law firm of Dechert, LLP. After working in SLG’s Bay Area office for many years, Ethan relocated to Southern California where he worked at Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo before returning to SLG's Los Angeles office.
Ethan is admitted to practice law in California, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Ethan earned his law degree from the top-10 University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he attended on a full ride as a Levy Scholar. While attending law school, Ethan also earned a Certificate in Management from the Wharton School of Business. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the top-ranked Washington University in St. Louis, where he graduated with Honors.
Ethan serves on the Los Angeles Red Cross Board for the San Gabriel Pomona Valley Chapter, and is involved in his local synagogue. He plays guitar, drums, and ukulele, and is an avid reader, patron of the arts, and outdoorsman. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, son, and their dog Bowie.
