Dona represents corporate and individual clients in a wide array of complex business, corporate, and real estate disputes in federal and state courts and private arbitration. Dona represents both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving breach of contract, licensing, and buy-sell agreements, unfair competition and fraudulent business practices, consumer class actions, antitrust violations, trade secret misappropriation, infringement of intellectual property, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership and joint venture disputes, business divorces, civil RICO and conspiracy, and employment matters. Dona handles every aspect of a dispute from pre-litigation through trial and appeals, including arbitrations and mediations.
Prior to joining Structure Law Group, LLP, Dona was an attorney for the national law firm of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith. Dona earned her law degree from Loyola Law School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics and political science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
In her spare time, Dona is an avid philanthropist and enjoys dedicating her time to various organizations near and dear to her heart, including but not limited to the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities, Baby2Baby, Hashtag Lunchbag, and Pencils of Promise. She is a pro bono attorney for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, where she represents and advocates for abused, neglected, and vulnerable children in the foster care system, as well as runaway and emancipating youth in need of aid or support. Dona is also a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
For fun, Dona is a whole-hearted and passionate foodie and loves to fully embrace LA’s diverse culture and melting pot (pun intended) one eatery and coffee shop at a time. (She also loves burning off those delicious calories by hiking, dancing, and weight training). When she is not travelling or advocating for her clients, you can find her immersed in Russian literature and philosophy.
